The other day, AJD told Plouie that I'd written on the blog about the Blue Penguin of Happiness, and later last night, we got to witness his reaction to it. We came upstairs from watching Jeopardy! to find him sitting eagerly on AJD's laptop, wanting to see the part about the Blue Penguin. He can't actually read, though, so AJD pointed to the relevant sentences. That was enough to excite him; he started jumping up and down like a mouse in a washing machine and everything. Would that everyone could be content with so little!
We haven't actually announced to the Wild Republic about this blog's existence; we're not sure whether we should. If we did, Cami might become so stricken with stage fright that we never see him again, and Rusty would almost certainly do everything in his power to get me to post about him frequently.
