Stripes

The denizens of the Wild Republic have a peculiar fascination with each other's tails.  Quixley, , for obvious reasons, is particularly impressed with Hrithik's tail.

The aesthetics of this picture are very satisfying to me.  I'm not sure what Team Malagasy is talking about, by the way.  They confer a lot, and they stop talking when you appear to be paying attention too closely.

  1. Uh-oh.... I hope there's isn't a secret Madagascar-takes-over-the-world plot a-brewing. Perhaps Murchison should be put on the case. More likely though they're just discussing Jeopardy!-auditioning strategy.

I am very fond of that picture as well.

  2. More likely... but you never can tell with those two. Hrithik's awfully patriotic and Zebulon's... himself. Putting Murchison on the case might not be a bad idea. It would be very aesthetic, I bet.

  3. All the better justification, then.

  4. So I was just looking at the program for the Methods in Dialectology conference I'm going to next month, and apparently there's two whole sessions devoted the dialectology of Madagascar. (Afternoon of the last day, rightmost column on the program.) This is only further evidence for either the secret plot or the subtle effects of Hrithik's meditation, methinks.

Unfortunately it seems the sessions are in French. Does Hrithik speak French?

  5. Of course he does! (He's vaguely insulted that you had to ask. But only vaguely.)

Team Malgasy is improbably influential. Maybe we should try out this meditation technique ourselves.
